Beside the fireplace on the wall, there is a switch to turn on the fireplace. Please note, it may take a few seconds to ignite.

Do not forget to turn off the fireplace when leaving your condo.

Complimentary laundry detergent is provided in your condo. If you require extra supplies, please call our office at 403-678-5108 during our daily office hours.

To operate the washing machine, please hold the start button for a few seconds to start the cycle.

Before operating the dryer, please check that the lint trap is free of debris. Please note that you are using a condensing dryer - these machines take longer to dry than a standard dryer.

There are remote controls in each condo for the Cable Box (Shaw or Telus) and the TV. The Shaw/Telus remote will control both the cable box and basic TV functions.

Wi-Fi is available throughout all Spring Creek Vacation building common areas and within each condo. Login details are provided in a photo frame near the fireplace or entertainment console in your condo. If you are having trouble connecting to the internet in your condo, one of our team members will happily assist you during our daily office hours.

Easily log into your favorite entertainment apps (i.e. Netflix, YouTube, etc).

Ensure you have logged out of all apps prior to your departure.

Rocky Mountain Soap products are provided for your use. Please do not remove the refillable bottles from your condo or a supplementary charge will apply.

To activate the ice maker in the fridge freezer, pull down the wire at the roof on the freezer.

Certain suites have garburators. The following are some instructions and tips to properly use your garburator. If you notice an issue with your garburator, please report it immediately.

DO

• Clean the garburator: Pour a tablespoon of dish soap into the garburator and run for one minute with cold water.
• Always use with a strong flow of cold water.
• Run cold water at least a minute before and after using the garburator.
• If you have large food waste, cut into small pieces prior to usage.
• Grind lemon peels with cold water to get rid of any odour that may be present.
• Use only for food scraps.
• Run it regularly, and when you do, run it until the grinding of items is complete.

DON'T

• Do not use your hands to pick things out. If you drop something into the garburator, make sure it is off and use tongs to grab it.
• Do not pour oils and/or fats down the drain.
• Do not pour in harsh chemicals like bleach or drain cleaners.
• Do not use hot water.
• Do not grind high volume waste - grind a few scraps at a time.
• Do not grind:
  • Glass, plastic or paper
  • Extremely fibrous material (i.e. corn husks, celery stalks, onion skins, artichokes)
  • Expandable foods (i.e. pasta, rice)
  • Bones (i.e. beef, pork, fish)
  • Coffee grinds
  • Eggshells
  • Popcorn kernels and seeds

If your condo includes a sofa bed, you will find sheets, duvet, pillowcases and two pillows located in either the hallway or bedroom closet.

HOW TO UNFOLD YOUR SOFA BED

• Carefully remove all objects and furniture set in front of the sofa bed.
• Remove all sofa bed cushions.
• Lift the bar located either at the front edge or the back edge of the sofa seat area; this will pull out the mattress base.
• Set the mattress base down and unfold the sofa bed’s bottom half.
• Make sure all bars are securely on the ground before dressing the sofa bed.

HOW TO STOW YOUR SOFA BED

• Fold up the bottom of the bed and fold the bar down.
• Lift the bed below the middle portion slightly to raise the sofa bed legs off the ground.
• Return all sofa bed cushions.
• Return all objects and furniture set in front of the sofa bed.
