Who We Are
Spring Creek Vacations is an independently owned vacation rental management company operating out of the Spring Creek community that offers the best vacation rentals in Canmore, Alberta.
We provide a “home away from home” experience through our luxury properties for both our guests and property owners. We take pride in being able to offer on-site services and an on-site office so that you can reach us by phone or in person to help take care of your needs during your stay. Offering high-quality services through our housekeeping, management, reception and concierge, we let you see the best that Canmore has to offer with the ease and comfort of staying in our condo rentals.
Our three condo buildings, Rundle Cliffs Lodge, White Spruce Lodge and Tamarack Lodge, each with their own unique design, are all primely located in the remarkable Spring Creek community. At Spring Creek Vacations, we offer our guests a variety of luxury vacation rental options with a true mountain-living feel you won’t find anywhere else.

Our Story
Spring Creek Vacations first opened with Rundle Cliffs Lodge in 2009 as part of the Spring Creek community development project.
When Frank Kernick first built Rundle Cliffs Lodge, he and his team saw an opportunity for stunning vacation rentals that could grow into something bigger. Well before companies like Airbnb and VRBO would grow into the popular vacation options they are today, Spring Creek Vacations had to learn how to not only succeed in this new business but also navigate the early days of the online vacation rental world.

Now over a decade later, what started as a small business has evolved into the successful vacation property management business it is today. Currently, we manage nearly 50 vacation rentals throughout three buildings in the Spring Creek community, with more buildings and units on the way as we continue to grow.
As we continue to evolve with the community and the needs of our guests and owners, Spring Creek Vacations strives to provide high-quality hospitality services that you can count on.

All within the wonderful and lively Spring Creek community, you’re only steps away from downtown Canmore. As the “Heart of Canmore”, Spring Creek has its own stand-out features that make our buildings some of the best locations in all of Canmore.
Rundle Cliffs Lodge
As our first building where it all started, Rundle Cliffs Lodge has been a staple at Spring Creek Vacations for over a decade.
Bordered by two creeks and surrounded by the inspiring views Canmore is famous for, Rundle Cliffs’ impressive rundle stone entrances offer a fitting prelude to the luxury within. With each vacation rental equipped with everything you’ll need and only a 5-minute walk to Main Street in downtown Canmore, Rundle Cliffs Lodge is an excellent choice for your mountain getaway.

White Spruce Lodge
White Spruce Lodge was the next building to join Spring Creek Vacations and has quickly become a favourite for many of our guests.
The building was designed to capitalize on Canmore’s signature mountain views – Ha Ling Peak, the Rundle Range and, to the south, the celebrated Three Sisters – White Spruce Lodge is the perfect place to make lasting memories with family and friends. Our latest building which we opened in early 2022, the Tamarack Lodge offers a new edge to our vacation rentals.

About Spring Creek
No One Knows Canmore & Our Spring Creek Community Like We Do!
Building on family heritage, the Spring Creek land has been in developer Frank Kernick’s family since 1927. His grandparents operated a modest dairy farm until the 1950s when it became a camp for the workers constructing the Trans-Canada Highway. It then evolved into Restwell – a mobile home park and campground.
With its unmatched location bordered by two spring-fed creeks at the heart of downtown Canmore, it was only natural for the site to evolve into the town’s premier residential neighbourhood.
The master plan for Spring Creek’s 70 acres includes a mix of homes for every age and every stage of life, all melding high standards of craftsmanship and environmental sustainability with the architectural character right at home in this magical mountain town. Along streetscapes infused with European flair, Spring Creek’s spaces are being sculpted with pedestrians in mind: flat, highly walkable pathways, plenty of places to gather and visit; and around every corner, an uplifting view whose power to delight never wanes.
Among the many things that set Spring Creek apart is a clear commitment to cultivating a sense of community and belonging.
